Prep rules & exceptions
Do this before it goes to the curb, or it stays there.
- Weekend holiday rule — If one of the four skip-holidays falls on a Saturday or Sunday, pickup occurs on the regularly-scheduled collection day - only Monday-Friday holidays shift the schedule one day.
- Hauler note — City page (2026): ACE Recycling and Disposal provides garbage, recycling AND bulky waste service. The county-wide RoutesLookup layer still lists Waste Management - treat ACE as current; flag resolved on next city-page check.
- No-service areas — 38 of the 58 polygons in the city schedule layer carry 'No Day/No Service' - these are enclaves/county pockets outside WVC sanitation service.
